I can blindy select to load a level, and. If first I load is TITLE.PHD, sound is ok but screen is black in cinematics and even the menu. If I skip the cinematic, the loading screen shows for a fraction of a second, and then the level loads correctly and can be played. except it hangs there for about 8 seconds before even a boot screen will play through - during this period I can’t call the RA menu or fast forward or anything. When loading LEVEL1.PHD, sound from video/cinematic is ok but screen is black. And I’d love to, so… HELP!!! It’s the same deal with the Atari 2600 :S When launching a game from my frontend (HyperSpin/RocketLauncher), it pull up as normal and Configuration Override Loaded will show. Also I had to do a lot of manual art fixes/installs. I can manually load & detect core and the roms work fine, but it won’t ’ integrate’ the roms into the xmb like with the other systems. Hyperspin is a lot of alt-tabbing to notepad++, rebooting and I was using rocket launcher, hypermarquee, dons rom tools, joy2key. There’s no new playlist file being generated, it’s says and shows it’s scanning x amount of roms, but getting back to the main screen there’s no n64 slot and no roms found. The first is Mupen64plus, I scan my roms but they refuse to show up. ![]() But it does have quite a steep learning curve. Also I’m using the 64bit version and I’m on windows 8.1. I got all the cores in question through the core updater btw. This can be repeated for other systems, so it seems it is dependent on the most recently loaded system. Go to load Goldeneye64 and get a black screen. Go back to Hyperspin, load Lion King (Sega) and all is well. emulator loaded directly from Retroarch will successfully load, all others go to a black screen. I’ve set up a bunch of cores (nes, snes, megadrive, tb16 etc…) and they all work fine but i’m having some issues with a couple in particular. Back out of Hyperspin, open Retroarch, detect core load Sonic (Sega) - it loads fine. This Plug and Play HTPC boots right into Hyperspin. Making the switch from hyperspin the Retroarch recently and I’m well impressed so far, but… Before, if a core used the audio batch callback, there would be a hidden cap of 1024 on the number of audio frames that could be sent. I know this is specific, but it seems some other articles/posts run into a somewhat similar issue.
